About

‘K Duece’ born in Los Angeles, CA moved to Atlanta, GA at the age of 3. As the Founder of “Get Money Entertainment” he has emerged as one of the most influential and successful businessmen in the music industry. He then wisely signed his longtime friend “Young ATL” known today as “Roscoe Dash” from a group called, “Black out Boys” in year 2007.

In 2009, his artist Roscoe Dash had a hit record that changed everything. “All The Way Turnt Up” instantly took off and became the number one song in Atlanta within 24 hours of its release. It immediately made its peak to the Billboard Hot 100 ranking #46 as well as #8 on the Hot Rap Songs chart. He went from being a southern artist to a national phenomenon. October 6th 2009 Roscoe Dash found himself signing to Def Jam Recordings which enlarged the doors of success.

In 2010, he became an A&R for Def Jam Recordings and immediately was assigned his first project. He was the project manager in California and Atlanta for Rick Ross’s album “Teflon Don” which debuted July 20th 2010. The album debuted number two on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling 176,300 copies in its first week and was certified gold after 694,000 copies being sold. Throughout this time, he had been working with his label mates Big Sean, Currensy Spitta, Raekwon, Quest, Karina Pasian, Mann, and many more. His career quickly began morphing as he received recognition for the success of his first major project.

In 2011, K Duece decided to launch “BreakYoHits” which is a company that he thought would be beneficial for up and coming recording artists. The company specialized in artist promotions, giving the talented up and coming artists a chance to break through the industry. K Duece quoted, “No one was willing to help us when we were coming up. I cracked the door open on my own, then kept pushing until it opened up to the point I was able to slide in. I don’t want to be one of those people that are in a position to help, but doesn’t.”

Once K Duece’s unique skills became known, he began to work with various artists such as Paul Wall, Flo-Rida, The Weeknd, Wiz Khalifa, Travis Barker and more. He later started working with Young Money Entertainment. He had the first hands on records and would release them when the time was at its peak. Furthermore, he did artists promotions and bookings for Gudda Gudda, Mack Maine, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Twist.

Most recently, K Duece wisely decided to take a totally different route into acting. He went to a movie set in Atlanta to meet with a close friend who had a major role in the movie “Rock of Ages” and coincidentally one of the actors didn’t show. Despite the lack of formal training and experience, K Duece was able to land his first role as an extra in the movie. He then immediately began to get listed as an actor everywhere which led him to receiving a role in the MTV series “Teen Wolf”.

With the success of him and his clients shows his leadership skills and ambition for greatness. Each passing year has been a great learning experience for K Duece and his company so they will continue to work hard and win. The purpose of life is a life of purpose.
